Assessment and suitability
Lisa may decline, postpone or modify treatment where it is not clinically appropriate, safe or in the client’s best interests. Clients must provide accurate and complete information about relevant medical history, medication, allergies, prior treatments and changes to health.
Clients should tell Lisa if they are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, as treatment may need to be postponed.
Where a prescription-only medicine may be appropriate, Lisa will complete the required face-to-face assessment and make the prescribing decision herself.
Consent and results
Treatment requires an appropriate assessment and documented treatment-specific consent. Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.
Reviews and additional product
Review following treatment for lines and facial movement
Where treatment is provided following consultation, a two-week review is included in the original treatment fee.
The review allows Lisa to assess the treatment response. If Lisa considers an adjustment clinically appropriate at that review, it is included in the original fee.
Additional treatment is not automatic or guaranteed. Any decision will be based on clinical assessment.
Dermal filler review
A two-week review can be arranged to assess the result. Additional filler is not included. If further treatment is clinically appropriate and the client wishes to proceed, the additional product will be chargeable.
Clinical records and photographs
Clinical photographs are routinely taken for injectable-treatment clients and retained in the clinical record. Marketing or social-media use of identifiable photographs, testimonials or personal information requires separate permission.
Age and statutory rights
Cosmetic injectable treatment is only available to adults aged 18 and over. Nothing in these policies affects statutory rights.
Before treatment, Lisa will explain the relevant risks, expected effects, limitations and aftercare. Treatment-specific consent and clinical records are completed through the clinic’s secure clinical system.
